Wonderland
The design at Tamarama Beach integrates an innovative strategy to enhance natural light within a naturally challenging plot. By positioning decks along one side, both the master bedroom and living area extend outward, optimising the stunning views while functioning as covered balconies. Additionally, the incorporation of a significant void above the kitchen allows for an influx of northern light, effectively illuminating the living spaces directly below.
By stacking the building on the western side of the block, every bedroom is given a south-easterly view to the beach, affording the long swimming pool and spa a similar outlook.
The client’s brief of ‘jungle to sea’ sees the retention of a number of kentia palms in the rear yard, with an entry bridge inviting a magical walk through the treetops.
