Sailors Bay House

This house is all about soaking in the amazing views and celebrating its beautiful location between the harbour and bushland. It's perfect for a family that loves to entertain, especially with young adult kids. There are so many great spots for gatherings—like the upper terrace on the entry level for sunset drinks, the main level with a kitchen for more formal dinners, and the lower level with a pool and pool table for when it's party time.

The renovation transformed a dull grey brick and concrete structure into something special, using strong horizontal lines at each level to break up the façade and ground the building. Sandstone cladding runs through the centre, guiding you toward those stunning views.

The original stair was kept and revitalised, breathing new life into the space. A skylight was added to draw natural light into the home. The curved staircase allowed for a more fluid design, which is reflected in the new elements introduced throughout the house.

With a private jetty and winding paths through a lush garden, this home really embraces a lifestyle revolves around the harbour.
