Fiddle Leaf

The proposed redesign aims to enhance the connection between the existing structure and the surrounding environment, particularly the rear garden. By shifting the car parking to the narrow street frontage, we create a more accessible and inviting formal entry that integrates with the adjacent public walkway. This approach not only improves the flow of movement but also encourages interaction with the outdoor space. The reconfiguration respects the site's unique topography while promoting a cohesive relationship between the building and its context. Thoughtful landscaping can further define this entry point, creating a seamless transition from the street to the garden.

This creates a discreet street elevation belying the steep nature of the site. The internal layout is reoriented towards a courtyard, previously car parking space, o take advantage of the northern aspect.

This allows the living areas to form a better connection to outdoor space and the large fiddle leaf fig tree on the property boundary.

A new curvaceous form contains a new upper level master suite with roof deck to take advantage of district views.
